James 5: 16 ....."The Effectual Fervent Prayers of A Righteous Man Availeth Much"
We as Christians have been commissioned by God to Pray and not just pray but pray always. In the word of God it says, Luke 18:1"Men ought always pray and not faint." However prayer is often the last thing we do when in reality it is to be the absolute first. Before our feet hit the floor we should praise God and give thanks unto Him. Before we rush into the day there needs to be time spent with God. We desire the blessing of God but to often leave Him out of the process of receiving from God. There is so much that God wants to reveal to his people. God says,"I know the thoughts I have towards you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you an expected end." Jeremiah 29:11. This passage of scripture excites me because it lets me know that I should be expecting something and not just anything but something great that God Himself has designed with me in mind. Yet we can not expect to know God's will for our lives if we do not spend quality time in His presence. Could it be that God is waiting on you to usher in the next move of blessing in your family? Maybe it's you that can pray and bring change in the lives of those young people that seem to have no direction.
I say to you don't let another minute go by where You do not talk to God. Today He calls to you and He is waiting to hear from you. Ask God to show you how to pray and what to pray. If the disciples could ask why can't you? Luke 11:1....Lord teach us to pray".
